on

Vitamin
C,
essential
nutrient
provided
food
or
as
dietary
supplement,
well-known
antioxidant
and
scavenger

oxygen
species;
however,
at
high
doses,
it
can
induce
pro-oxidant
effects,
acting
through
multiple
biological
mechanisms
that
