Abstract Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are common among adolescents. According to the Health Belief Model, cues action influence preventive behaviors. Cues can include health experiences such as being diagnosed with an STI. The impact of a history STIs on subsequent condom use adolescents remains largely unexamined, despite high rates recurrence and their impacts. This project aimed systematically review literature association between curable systematic review, reported following PRISMA guidelines, was conducted using Joanna Briggs Institute method. Eligible studies, in form cohort case-control or cross-sectional targeted aged 10 24, without STIs; outcome use. MEDLINE (Ovid), Embase (Elsevier), Web Science were searched from January 2012 December 2022 assistance information specialist. Two reviewers independently selected articles extracted data. Risk bias analysis performed ROBINS-E. explores results, tables, based population characteristics, exposure, outcome, addresses gender, ethnicity, age. Of 3088 identified, seven studies retained. Almost all focused African-American, Nigerian, Rwandan adolescents, several included only girls. Among girls, STI increased combination other contraceptive methods ( n = 4). boys older both genders, associated decrease 3). No study distinguished different STIs. While 7) presented risk bias, six did not present threat conclusion validity. All indicated that could protective behaviors, possibly by acting cue action, posited Model. enhances our understanding factors leading adoption measures apply infectious experiences. Registration protocol is registered PROSPERO (CRD42023397443).

The polymorphic membrane proteins (Pmps) are a family of autotransporters that play an important role in infection, adhesion and immunity Chlamydia trachomatis . Here we show the characteristic GGA(I,L,V) FxxN tetrapeptide repeats fit into larger repeat sequence, which correspond to coils large beta-helical domain high quality structure predictions. Analysis protein using prediction algorithms provided novel insight chlamydial Pmp proteins. While motifs themselves predicted structural folding close stacking backbone passenger domain, found many interesting features Pmps localized side loops jutting out from beta helix including protease cleavage, host cell adhesion, B-cell epitopes; while T-cell epitopes predominantly beta-helix itself. This analysis more accurately defines may better inform rational vaccine design functional studies.

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) affects 1-2% of women, and its triggering factors are unclear. Several studies have shown the vaginal, endometrial, gut microbiota may play a role in RPL.
