Immuno-oncology has transformed the treatment of cancer, with several immunotherapies becoming standard across histologies. Despite these advancements, majority patients do not experience durable clinical benefits, highlighting imperative for ongoing advancement in immuno-oncology. Computational immuno-oncology emerges as a forefront discipline that draws on biomedical data science and intersects oncology, immunology, research, overarching goal to accelerate development effective safe treatments from laboratory clinic. In this review, we outline 10 critical challenges opportunities computational immuno-oncology, emphasizing importance robust strategies interdisciplinary collaborations amid constantly evolving interplay between needs technological innovation.
