Abstract
This
paper
explores
the
interplay
between
AI
metrics
and
policymaking
by
examining
conceptual
methodological
frameworks
of
global
their
alignment
with
National
Artificial
Intelligence
Strategies
(NAIS).
Through
topic
modeling
qualitative
content
analysis,
key
thematic
areas
in
NAIS
are
identified.
The
findings
suggest
a
misalignment
technical
economic
focus
broader
societal
ethical
priorities
emphasized
NAIS.

Abstract
Digital
public
goods
(DPGs),
if
implemented
with
effective
policies,
can
facilitate
the
realization
of
United
Nations
Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs).
However,
there
are
ongoing
deliberations
on
how
to
define
DPGs
and
assure
that
society
extract
maximum
benefit
from
growing
number
digital
resources.
The
International
Research
Center
Big
Data
for
(CBAS)
sees
as
an
important
mechanism
information-driven
policy
decision-making
processes
SDGs.
This
article
presents
results
a
CBAS
survey
51
respondents
around
world
spanning
multiple
scientific
fields,
who
shared
their
expert
opinions
thoughts
about
challenges
related
practical
implementation
in
supporting
Based
results,
paper
core
principles
proposed
strategy,
including
establishment
international
standards,
adherence
open
science
data
principles,
scalability
monitoring
SDG
indicators.
