Underground coal mining of gas-bearing seams is accompanied by the emission large amounts methane, which increases with depth. Coal seam methane not only a major cause accidents in mines, but also greenhouse gas that has significant negative impact on Earth’s atmosphere. Analysis efficiency underground suggests as depth increases, productivity longwall decreases factor 3–5 or more, while specific volume emitted manifold and management decreases. In the early 2000s, biofuels like biodiesel and bioethanol were seen as renewable alternatives to petroleum, driven by rising crude oil prices environmental concerns. The predominance of petroleum-based fuels is lessened by the preference for biodiesel as an alternative. The global push towards sustainable energy solutions has intensified research into alternative fuels, such as biodiesel. This study investigates the performance and emission characteristics of biodiesel derived from waste swine oil in comparison to traditional diesel fuel. Using an engine running at 75% load across a range speeds (1200 rpm 1800 rpm), various metrics Brake-Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC), Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE), emissions including Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrocarbon (HC), Dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen Oxide (NOx), smoke opacity were measured. demonstrated higher BSFC (270 g/kWh) compared (245 but showed reduced (28.5% vs. 29.8%) diesel. In terms emissions, blends recorded lower levels CO, HC, opacity, elevated CO2 NOx. results indicate that while presents some environmental benefits, challenges remain NOx less efficient fuel consumption.
