Is There a Correlation Between Masticatory Muscle Thickness and Pain After Botulinum Toxin Injections in Myogenic TMD Patients?: A Pilot Study

temporalis
thickness
intensity
change
over
12
weeks
following
BoNT-A
injections
in
15
patients
(mean

51.42
years)
with
TMD.

via
ultrasonography

clenching
resting
conditions
at
baseline

8,

Background:
Bruxism
is
a
common
parafunctional
activity
that
causes
destructive
effects
on
the
teeth,
periodontal
tissue,

among
women
with
bruxism

Methods:
