Introduction Nitrogen-fixing bacteria (NFB) have a pivotal impact on the nitrogen cycle within agroforestry systems. Grapevines are widely cultivated and highly nutritious, making them economically significant among plants globally. However, important spring temperature fluctuations frequent frost events in some production areas severely affect grape growth yield. Therefore, enhancing the cold resistance of grapevines is considerable importance for production. This study used less cold-resistant varieties Vitis vinifera cv. Cabernet Sauvignon Chardonnay as test materials. They were treated with antifreeze agents ‘GuoGuang KangXiu,’ ‘Biogas Liquid’, ‘SenHuo’, ‘Ice Shield’ 24 48 h before exposure to a low-temperature treatment −2 °C.
