Abstract Synthesis of metallic nanoparticles (NPs) through a rapid, safe, chemical solvent‐ and agents‐free, environmentally benign method has gained significant importance. In this study, ZnO/MgO bimetallic nanoparticle (BmNP) are successfully synthesized using Echium amoenum flower extract as bioreducing biostabilizing agent. To attain high‐efficiency synthesis the BmNPs, effect parameters such reaction pH, plant concentration, temperature is investigated systematically. The highest production yield 95.4% achieved at pH 6, concentration 50 mg mL −1 , maintaining 60 °C. Under optimal conditions, BmNPs thoroughly characterized Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy‐dispersive (EDS), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM), nitrogen gas physisorption, dynamic light scattering (DLS) to elucidate bioreduction process determine physicochemical properties BmNPs. addition, anticancer effectiveness assessed Michigan Cancer Foundation‐7 (MCF‐7) breast cancer cells, revealing that produced effectively inhibit MCF‐7 cells with half‐maximal (50%) inhibitory 94.40 µg . These findings encouraging for large‐scale their biomedical application points view.

Photocatalysts are the most essential in photocatalytic degradation of dyes wastewater. Here, ZnO/TiO 2 composite photocatalysts with variable proportions were prepared by chemical deposition method order to meet realistic requirements low-cost synthesis, high stability, and environmental friendliness. The as-prepared photocatalyst was characterized technologies scanning electron microscope, transmission X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared UV-vis diffuse reflection, photoluminescence electrochemistry, nitrogen adsorption diffraction. methyl orange (MO) applied evaluate activity under low-power irradiation. At same time, effects composition photocatalyst, pH MO concentration solution on performance mainly investigated. results demonstrated an excellent synergistic effect between ZnO TiO for improving efficiency catalyst. highest rate reaches 98.6% a mass proportion ZnO:TiO being 0.131:1 condition 10 mg/L 6.7 via light ultraviolet radiation A band. This study brings new way production efficient catalysts sources mitigate azo dyes, e.g. MO.
