BACKGROUND Few studies have explored the relationship between macronutrient intake and sleep outcomes using daily data from mobile apps. OBJECTIVE This cross-sectional study aimed to examine associations macronutrients, dietary components, parameters, considering their interdependencies. METHODS We analyzed 4825 users of Pokémon Sleep Asken smartphone apps, each used for at least 7 days record objective parameters respectively. Multivariable regression quartiles macronutrients (protein; carbohydrate; total fat, including saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated fats), components (sodium, potassium, fiber, sodium-to-potassium ratio), variables (total time [TST], latency [SL], percentage wakefulness after onset [%WASO]). The lowest group was reference. Compositional analysis accounted Models were adjusted age, sex, BMI. RESULTS Greater protein associated with longer TST in third (+0.17, 95% CI 0.09-0.26 h) fourth (+0.18, 0.09-0.27 quartiles. In contrast, greater fat linked shorter (–0.11, –0.20 –0.27 (–0.16, –0.25 –0.07 carbohydrate %WASO (–0.82%, –1.37% –0.26%) (–0.57%, –1.13% –0.01%) quartiles, while quartile (+0.62%, 0.06%-1.18%). Background/Objectives: Interest in diversity is growing worldwide. Today, an understanding and social acceptance of diverse people becoming increasingly important. Therefore, this study, we aimed to clarify the relationship between individual’s gray matter volume (GMV), which thought reflect brain health, their (gender, sexuality (LGBTQ), origin). Methods: GMV was determined as value Gray Matter Brain Healthcare Quotient (GM-BHQ) based on MRI image analysis. Meanwhile, participants’ calculated answers psychological questions included World Values Survey Wave 7 (WVS7). Results: Our analysis indicated that, group participants with highest (PHUD. n = 11), not only at whole level (t 2.587, p 0.027, Cohen’s d 0.780) but also central executive network (CEN: t 2.700, p= 0.022, 0.814) saliency (SN: 3.100, 0.011, 0.935) were shown be significantly higher than theoretical estimated from sex, age, BMI 5% level. In addition, default mode (DMN: 2.063, 0.066, 0.622) 10% others (n 10), there no significant difference value. These differences PHUD observed when comparing two without controlling for educational occupational covariates or levels. Conclusions: results suggest that requires a healthy brain, centered three networks govern rational judgment, emotion regulation, other-awareness, self-awareness, valuing actions. This first study show structure related people.

Abstract Aim The aim of this study was to test whether healthy lifestyles can offset the increased risk childhood respiratory and psycho-behavioral comorbidities attributed gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) or prenatal smoking exposure. Methods From April May 2024, we conducted a cross-sectional cluster sampling children aged 2–16 years in Beijing. Fetal neonatal related factors, family-related lifestyle-related information were collected through an electronic questionnaire. A weighted lifestyle score calculated by aggregating diet, physical activity, sleep time, screen time; it categorized into healthy, intermediate unhealthy lifestyles. Logistic regression used estimate odds ratio (OR) 95% confidence interval (95% CI) for association GDM during pregnancy with psych-behavioral comorbidities. Interaction terms explore offsetting effect factors. Results prevalence among Chinese 15.18%. associated (multi-adjusted OR, CI: 1.40, 1.07–1.82 1.71, 1.22–2.40). Children faced significantly higher developing compared their peers (1.91; 1.48–2.45). Adhering due (1.42, 0.81–2.48) (1.29, 0.50–3.31). Conclusions Our findings indicated that adherence might pregnancy.

This study aimed to describe the lifestyle factors and mental health levels among higher education students identify their predictors. A cross-sectional with a sample of 745 was conducted from Polytechnic Porto using Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS-21), Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation (CORE)-18, FANTASTICO Lifestyle Questionnaire. The findings indicate that while generally exhibited positive lifestyle, they also experienced mild depression, anxiety, stress, nearing moderate threshold. DASS-21 subscale significant predictor both CORE-18 scores, underscoring strong relationship between depression overall well-being. stress were predictors reflecting negative impact on students’ psychological Perceived status male sex associated better outcomes CORE-18, female predicted healthier as measured by FANTASTICO. These highlight importance targeted interventions address promote healthy choices educational settings.

Pregnancy presents specific metabolic demands, and disruption caused by a high-fat high-sugar diet (HFHSD) have been associated with significant complications, including maternal health risk, fetal developmental issues, infertility. Obesity-related changes in the uterine tissues may contribute to these challenges. This study analyzed structural uterus adipose tissue of pregnant rats on gestation day 22 fed an HFHSD using various staining techniques. Hematoxylin eosin showed morphological structure, lumen size thickness myometrium, endometrium, perimetrium. The amount collagen was determined PicroSirius red staining, while PAS-D used observe glycogen content. Key protein expressions, such as insulin leptin receptors UCP1 UCP3, were immunohistochemistry. promoted hypertrophy visceral gonadal adipocytes, suggesting alterations. By end pregnancy, reduction observed. Additionally, decrease higher receptor expressions myometrium indicated physiological alteration. These findings offer insight into how affects structure function during late pregnancy but should be interpreted within context gestation-related changes. Further research is needed understand functional consequences alterations reproductive health.

Abstract Brain health is a pressing global concern. Poor diet quality recognized major environmental risk factor for brain disorders and one of the few that modifiable. There substantial evidence nutrition impacts development across life course. So why then full potential not utilized to improve function? This commentary, which based on discussions European Research Area BRAINFOOD cluster, aims highlight most urgent research priorities concerning base in area identifies 3 issues need be addressed: (1) increase causal mechanistic link between health, (2) produce effective messages/education role food (3) provide funding support collaborative working diverse stakeholders.
