Heterogeneous catalysts with precise surface and interface structures are of great interest to decipher the structure-property relationships maintain remarkable stability while achieving high activity. Here, we report design fabrication new sandwich composites ZIF-8@Au25@ZIF-67[tkn] ZIF-8@Au25@ZIF-8[tkn] [tkn = thickness shell] by coordination-assisted self-assembly well-defined interfaces. The ZIF-8@Au25@ZIF-67 efficiently catalyzed both 4-nitrophenol reduction terminal alkyne carboxylation CO2 under ambient conditions remarkably improved activity stability, compared simple components Au25/ZIF-8 Au25@ZIF-8, highlighting highly useful function ultrathin shell. In addition, performances these composite conveniently regulated shell thickness. This concept achievements should open a avenue targeted nanocatalysts enhanced activities stabilities for challenging reactions.
