Abstract
containing
heterocyclic
scaffolds
by
virtue
of
their
interesting
reactivities
and

broad
range
applications
in

medicinal
materials
chemistry.
This
review
involves
electrophilic/radical
cyclization
alkynes
heteroatoms
which
resulted
into
novel
Se‐heterocycles.
The
synthesis
seleno‐heterocycles
via
different
nucleophiles
including

C‐
is
exhaustively
discussed.
Also,
one‐pot
electrophilic
1,3‐diynes
1,3,5‐triynes
was
described
details.
Furthermore,
various
mechanisms
underlying
selenium‐β‐lactam,
carbapenem
heterocycle,
bis‐
tris‐selenide
alkene,
β‐selenosulfonation
selenated
were
Se‐heterocycles
reported
this
allow
preparing
these
compounds
bearing
selenium
moiety
both
on
rings
(outside)
inside
ring
(e.

selenophenes).

Concerns
about
this
problem
led
to
development

more
versatile
sustainable
protocols
based
principles
green
chemistry.
One
these
innovative
approaches
is
carry
out
reactions
under
visible-light
sources
without
photocatalysts.
This
benign,
simple,
cost-effective
method,
inspired
by
nature,
could
be
a
suitable
alternative
some
classical
methods,
change
harsh
reaction
conditions
into
milder
ones.
In
Perspective,
we
outlined
results
catalyst-free
organic
further
encourage
researchers
in
promising
field.
The
proposed
mechanisms
generation
an
electron
donor–acceptor
complex
(EDA)
single-electron
transfer
(SET)
pathway
were
discussed.

A

environmentally-friendly
method
for
the
clean
preparation
of
various
quinolin-2-yl
substituted
ureas
in
water
under
mild
and
toxic
reagent-,
base-,
organic
solvent-free
conditions

established.
In
large-scale
synthesis,
products
could
be
rapidly
collected
via
simple
filtration
washing
with
ethanol.
The
usage
readily
available
raw
materials,

atom
