Abstract A novel synthetic strategy of cascade C−H activation/C−S coupling/C−O cyclization reaction by using metal organic framework material Cu 3 (BTC) 2 as catalyst is investigated. In this method, can effectively catalyze the hydroxylation ortho ‐C sp2 ‐H benzenethiol, and then coupling intramolecular C−O cyclization. Phenoxathiine derivatives are efficiently prepared one‐pot method. our work, a series phenoxathiin were obtained in good yield At same time, mechanism was explored through conditional control experiments.

Abstract The construction of complex molecules from readily available alcohols via C–C bond formation reactions is great interest in organic synthesis. Silver‐coated Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles (Fe @Ag) were prepared and used as magnetic catalyst for the chemoselective cross‐coupling benzyl alcohol 1‐phenylethanol to form 1,3‐diphenylpropan‐1‐one or 1,3‐diphenylpropan‐1‐ol. This magnetically separable was also found exhibit high catalytic activity one‐pot, three‐component reaction alcohol, 3‐aminopyrazole synthesis pharmaceutical skeleton pyrazolo[1,5‐ a ]pyrimidine. system can be successfully reused 10 times with small decrease its performance. shows extraordinary activity, stability, good reusability, wide applicability diverse substrates.

Abstract Covalent attachment of a 1,2,4‐triazole iridium complex to mesoporous MCM‐41 generated heterogeneous catalyst that was found be effective in the synthesis 2‐aryl isoindolines, quinolines, cyclic amines, and symmetrical secondary amines through cascade borrowing hydrogen strategy. Interestingly, supported prepared from exhibited high catalytic activity preparation isoindoline derivatives amines. The system is highly recyclable for at least five times. Besides important effect triazole, sites grafted on siliceous supports can act as multifunctional centers thus greatly enhance catalysts. Furthermore, mechanistic experiments revealed reaction initiated by an initial alcohol dehydrogenation promoted hydride intermediate.
