Background: Typical lung diseases are pneumonia, asthma, sleep apnea syndrome (SA), interstitial pneumonia (IP), cancer, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is a type of viral pneumonia. Many researchers have reported that phytochemicals (chemical compounds produced by plants) vitamin D useful in stimulating our immunity. This review discusses the alleviation grape D. Discussion: Pneumonia an acute inflammation caused infection pathogens; worst case fatal cytokine storm lung. In allergens, tobacco smoke, or air pollution may cause seizures. Lung fibrosis manifest inflammation, progress into alveolar fibrosis, respiratory malfunction. SA lifestyle related to obesity metabolic syndrome. To alleviate these symptoms, changing eating habit one strategies. Improvement daily reduces risk cancer. Self-management, including nutritional management exercise, very important for COPD patients addition pharmacotherapy. Conclusion: The intake prevents diseases. Both prevent production proinflammatory cytokine, TNF-α, responsible Daily important. optimum level serum > 30 ng/mL. For prevention diseases, upregulating immunity maintaining good gut microbiota because change depending on what we eat.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is strongly associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Sesquiterpene glycosides from loquat leaf achieved beneficial effects on metabolic syndromes such as NAFLD and diabetes; however, their specific activity underlying mechanism T2DM-associated have not yet been fully understood. In the present study, we found that sesquiterpene glycoside 3 (SG3), a novel isolated leaf, was able to prevent insulin resistance (IR), oxidative stress, inflammation. db/db mice, SG3 administration (25 50 mg/kg/day) inhibited obesity, hyperglycemia, release of inflammatory cytokines. (5 10 μM) also significantly alleviated hepatic lipid accumulation, response induced by high glucose combined oleic acid in HepG2 cells. Western blotting analysis showed these were related repair abnormal signaling inhibit cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing (NLRP3), both vivo vitro. addition, treatment could decrease ratio Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes increase relative abundance Lachnospiraceae, Muribaculaceae, Lactobacillaceae after high-throughput pyrosequencing 16S rRNA observe changes gut microbial composition mice. These findings proved protect against T2DM improving IR, inflammation through regulating inhibiting CYP2E1/NLRP3 pathways, remodeling mouse microbiome. It suggested be considered new functional additive for healthy diet.

COPD is predicted to become the third leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide by 2030. Cigarette smoking (active or passive) one its chief causes, with about 20% cigarette smokers developing from smoke (CS)-induced irreversible damage sustained inflammation airway epithelium. Inflammasome activation leads cleavage pro-interleukin (IL)-1β pro-IL-18, along release pro-inflammatory cytokines via gasdermin D N-terminal fragment membrane pores, which further triggers acute phase responses concurrent pyroptosis. There currently intense interest in role nucleotide-binding oligomerisation domain-like receptor family, pyrin domain containing protein-3 inflammasomes chronic inflammatory lung diseases such as their potential for therapeutic targeting. Phytochemicals including polyphenols flavonoids have phyto-medicinal benefits CS-COPD. Here, we review published articles last decade regarding known associations between inflammasome-mediated ameliorations pre-clinical manifestations CS-COPD polyphenol flavonoid treatment, a focus on underlying mechanistic insights. This article will potentially assist development drugs prevention therapy COPD, particularly smokers.

Introduction Higher flavonoid intakes are beneficially associated with pulmonary function parameters; however, their association chronic obstructive disease (COPD) is unknown. This study aimed to examine associations between of 1) total flavonoids, 2) subclasses and 3) major compounds incident COPD in participants from the Danish Diet, Cancer Health study. Methods prospective cohort included 55 413 men women without COPD, aged 50–65 years at recruitment. Habitual baseline were estimated a food frequency questionnaire using Phenol-Explorer. nationwide registers used identify cases COPD. Associations modelled restricted cubic splines within Cox proportional hazards models. Results During 23 follow-up, 5557 diagnosed Of these, 4013 current smokers, 1062 former smokers 482 never-smokers. After multivariable adjustments, highest had 20% lower risk than those lowest (quintile 5 versus quintile 1: HR 0.80, 95% CI 0.74–0.87); 6–22% was observed for each subclass. The inverse intake present both but only (HR 0.77, 0.70–0.84) 0.82, 0.69–0.97), not Furthermore, higher appeared lessen, negate, smoking intensity. Conclusion Dietary flavonoids may be important partially mitigating smoking-related However, cessation should remain priority.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a widespread global health problem marked by increasing airflow limitation and chronic airway inflammation. Conventional treatments for COPD offer limited efficacy have potentially undesirable effects, requiring the investigation of other therapeutic options. Because their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, bronchodilatory plant-based chemicals emerged as viable candidates therapy. The successful delivery these compounds to respiratory system, on hand, remains an enormous challenge. This extensive review article explores promising potential therapies investigates leading-edge nanoformulation technologies targeted at addressing complex challenges that accompany natural compounds. We discuss multiple plant-derived (polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids) modes action in reducing COPD-related indications complications. Additionally, function nanotechnology improving bioavailability, stability, pharmaceuticals treatment explored. Nanoformulation techniques, such nanoparticles, liposomes, micelles, are described, with emphasis precisely encapsulate transport bioactive afflicted parts lung. Furthermore, constraints development nanoformulations also highlighted, including safety, scalability, regulatory issues. current aims provide thorough understanding future combining knowledge novel technologies. intersection nature-inspired medicines may hold key more effective, safer, patient-centred choices people suffering from this illness.

Respiratory diseases (RDs) constitute a common public health problem both in industrialized and developing countries. The comprehension of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying these conditions development new therapeutic strategies are critical for improving quality life affected patients. β2-adrenergic receptor (β2AR) transient potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) involved physiological responses airways. β2AR is implicated bronchodilation, mucociliary clearance, anti-inflammatory effects, while TRPV1 mediation pain cough reflexes. In RDs, such as respiratory infections, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, concentration expression receptors can be altered, leading to significant consequences. this review, we provided an update on literature about role conditions. We reported how diminished or defective during viral infections prolonged therapy with β2-agonists increase severity pathologies impact prognosis. Conversely, was pivotal neuroinflammation, its modulation could lead innovative treatment specific indicate future perspectives personalized treatments RDs through comprehensive analysis roles pathological pathologies.
