Various
energetic
salts
(3a-f)
were
obtained
from
1,3,5-tris[(2H-tetrazol-5-yl)methyl]isocyanurate
(3),
while
N2,N4,N6-tri(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine

and
N,N'-{6-[(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)amino]-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl}bis[N-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)nitramide]

cyanuric
chloride
via
a
simple,
efficient
two-step
synthetic
route
inexpensive
starting
materials.
Compounds
3a-f
6
show
excellent
detonation
properties
(VOD
=
7876-8832
m
s-1,
DP
20.73-30.0
GPa),
high
nitrogen
content
(>62%),
positive
heats
of
formation
(205.2-1888.9
kJ
mol-1)
with
thermostability
remarkable
insensitivity.

Abstract
Zwitterionic
compounds
are
an
emergent
class
of
energetic
materials
and
have
gained
synthetic
interest
many
in
the
recent
years.
Due
to
their
better
packing
efficiencies
strong
inter/intramolecular
electrostatic
interactions,
they
often
ensue
superior
properties
than
salt
analogues.
A
systematic
review
from
perspective
design,
synthesis,
physicochemical
evaluation
zwitterionic
is
presented.
Depending
on
parent
ring(s)
used
for
synthesis
type
moieties
bearing
positive
negative
charges,
different
classes
materials,
such
as
primary
explosives,
secondary
heat
resistant
oxidizers,
etc.,
may
result.
The
some
also
compared
with
analogous
salts.
This
will
encourage
readers
explore
possibility
designing
new
materials.

The
construction

modification

novel

frameworks

Abstract
Nitrogen
heterocycles
are
important
structural
subunits
that
occur
widely
in
bioactive
natural
products,
pharmaceuticals,

materials.
Considering

importance

modern
science,
synthesis

Recently,

salts
which
can
be
easily
prepared
from
inexpensive
abundantly
available
anilines,
have
used
as
versatile
nitrogen
sources
field
heterocycle
synthetic
chemistry
due
to

availability,
rich
reactivity,
diverse
transformations.

review
is

recent
advances

years.

Despite
the
significant
success
of
metal-H-catalyzed
hydroamination
methodologies,
considerable
limitations
still
exist
in
selective
alkynes,
especially
for
terminal
alkynes.
Herein,
we
develop
a
highly
efficient
NiH
catalytic
system
that
activates
readily
available
alkynes
cascade
hydroamination/cyclization
reaction
with
anthranils.
This
mild,
operationally
simple
protocol
is
amenable
to
wide
array
including
and
internal,
aryl
alkyl,
electron-deficient
electron-rich
ones,
delivering
structurally
diverse
quinolines
useful
excellent
yields
(>80
examples,
up
93%
yield).
The
utility
this
procedure
exhibited
late-stage
functionalization
several
natural
products
concise
synthesis
an
antitumor
molecule
graveolinine
triplex
DNA
intercalator.
Preliminary
mechanistic
experiments
suggest
alkenylnickel-mediated
