There is an increasing level of various pollutants and their persistence in aquatic environments. The improper use antibiotics inefficient metabolism organisms result release into Antibiotic abuse has led to hazardous effects on human health. Thereby, efficient removal pharmaceuticals, particularly antibiotics, from wastewater contaminated water bodies greatly interested international research communities. Metal-organic framework (MOF) materials, as a hybrid group material containing metallic center organic linkers, offer porous structure that highly for removing different streams. This article aims review the recent advancement using MOF-based adsorbents catalysts especially polluted water. Applying MOFs-based structures photocatalytic adsorptive techniques will be discussed evaluated this paper. Various materials such functionalized MOFs, composites, magnetic MOFs templated-metal oxide personal care products, aqueous media are discussed. Anionic, acidic, and metal ions are common contaminants in water cause serious concerns for human aquatic life. With the goal of rapid detection analytes, we herein design a new array ligand 5-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)pyridin-3-ol-linked silver coordinated metal-organic frameworks Ag-MOFs as promising sensor Cr2O72-, MnO4-, humic acid (HA), Fe3+ down to micro level. Furthermore, evidenced by luminescence, excitation-emission matrix (EEM) spectroscopic, PXRD measurements, designed (MOFs) can be fast, stable, reusable analyte water.

Abstract Heavy metal (HM) pollution is a major global concern. Carbon dots (CDs) have demonstrated unique properties as sensing platforms for HMs detection. This review summarizes the progress made in recent years fluorescence methods to determine and their species using CDs. First, strategies synthesize purify CDs are reviewed.
