Bridged polysilsesquioxanes (BPSs) are emerging biomaterials composed of synergistic inorganic and organic components. These materials have been investigated as ideal carriers for therapeutic diagnostic systems their favorable properties, including excellent biocompatibility, physiological inertia, tunable size morphology, extensive design flexibility functional groups to satisfy diverse application requirements. Stimuli-responsive BPSs can be activated by both endogenous exogenous stimuli, offering a precise, safe, effective platform the controlled release various targeted therapeutics. This review aims provide comprehensive overview stimuli-responsive BPSs, focusing on synthetic strategies, biodegradability, while critically assessing capabilities in response specific stimuli. Furthermore, practical suggestions future perspectives development presented. highlights significant role advancing biomedical research.

A series of hierarchically mesoporous silica nanoparticles were synthesized by using polymer-surfactant complexes with different surfactant. With the increase chain length surfactant, size mesopores increased gradually, and meso-structure changed from disordered to 3-dimentional cubic ordered 2-dimentional hexagonal ordered. Significantly, (50-100 nm) (P6mm) firstly obtained in synthetic system.
