In this work, we reported the rational design and synthesis of two pyrene-4,5,9,10-tetraone (PT)-linked conjugated microporous polymers (PT-CMPs) as organic electrode precursors in energy storage applications, which were prepared through Sonogashira polycondensation reaction ethynyl pyrene (Py-T)/tetraphenylethene (TPE-T) common units with brominated tetraene (PT-Br2) a redox-active unit. We employed microscopic, spectroscopic, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherm analyses to investigate thermal stability, molecular structure, porosity properties both newly obtained PT-CMPs. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) revealed that synthesized PT-CMPs feature moderate stability. TheP-PT-CMP exhibited high BET surface area up 300 m2 g–1 total pore volume was 0.34 cm3 g–1, based on sorption analyses. Notably, P-PT-CMP framework displayed very capacitance 400 F superior stability 80% over 5000 cycles at 10 A according supercapacitor performance. addition, have evaluated electrochemical performance symmetric coin supercapacitor, showing great potential for real-life applications electrical (EES).

Over the last decade, CO2 adsorption technology has quickly gained popularity and is now widely applied in global CCUS projects due to playing an important role achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As a result, new materials, or methods of post-modification those already available have been successively reported enhance efficiency capture from flue gases. This paper discusses systematic understanding fundamental aspects current research trends discussed terms developing selected solid adsorbent with particular emphasis on upcoming challenges. The candidates are reviewed considering practical drawbacks imposed industrial scale economics, including carbon-based MOFs, polymers, zeolite, silica, alumina, metal oxides, amine-based adsorbents, other composite porous materials. Solid sorbents derived biomass, residues, their thermochemical conversion also studied high need for cost-effective raw materials crucial circular economy. Lastly, techno-economic analysis (TEA) included provide most criteria that should be considered when adsorbents implemented scale. Consequently, review summarized, recommendations offered future development aims establish comprehensive theoretical basis characterization technologies currently used reduce emissions, along highlighting identification precise articulation paths could beneficial address over next years.

Abstract Water pollution is a growing threat to humanity due the pervasiveness of contaminants in water bodies. Significant efforts have been made separate these hazardous components purify polluted through various methods. However, conventional remediation methods suffer from limitations such as low uptake capacity or selectivity, and current quality standards cannot be met. Recently, advanced porous materials (APMs) shown promise improved segregation compared traditional selectivity. These feature merits high surface area versatile functionality, rendering them ideal platforms for design novel adsorbents. This Review summarizes development employment APMs variety treatments accompanied by assessments task‐specific adsorption performance. Finally, we discuss our perspectives on future opportunities purification.
