Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) represent a versatile class of porous reticular materials whose structures and properties can be precisely tailored for targeted applications. A prominent example such an application is the chemiresistive sensing gases, where MOFs exhibit robust responses even at room temperature, thereby demonstrating their potential practical utilization. This feature article reviews development design criteria that are crucial optimization as room-temperature chemiresistors. To highlight key advancements in this field, we categorize these into three distinct groups to (1) 2D conductive MOFs, (2) composites with other materials, (3) MOF-on-MOF architectures. The representative achievements from each group discussed demonstrate research progress construction innovative performance gas sensing. Special emphasis placed on underscoring role pioneering smart application.

Exercise can strengthen the body, but due to difference in exercise volume, which makes people's cardiorespiratory adaptive capacity different, unreasonable load intensity is very easy induce cardiovascular accidents. In this paper, an electronic skin sensor for monitoring human status proposed, a dual detecting changes humidity and pressure by composites of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), citric acid (CA), silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The nanoporous consisting PVA-CA-AgNP composite flexible, lightweight, sensitive, cost-effective. responds unit with sensitivity as high 0.34% RH–1 when relative increased from 11 98%, sensing/recovery time 200/600 ms, respectively, compressed external force. be used not only movement breathing patterns also further applications information encryption. sensor's continuous detection joint movements rhythms proves its effectiveness health confirms stability reliability applications.

Abstract Smart hydrogels with multi‐fluorescent properties hold great promise for information encryption. However, conventional fluorescent often lack adequate mechanical and multiple responsiveness, limiting their range of applications. In this study, a multifunctional hydrogel featuring an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) composed poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) poly(acrylic amide‐co‐2‐acrylamido‐2‐methylpropane sulfonic acid) P(AM/AMPS) chemical cross‐linking networks is designed. Through the coordination lanthanide ions (Eu 3+ , Tb ) glycine, achieves exceptional stretchability (over 900%) adjustable photoluminescence properties. Due to acid groups on 2‐acrylamide‐2‐methylpropanesulfonic (AMPS), which support various noncovalent interactions, PVA‐P(AM/AMPS)‐Gly‐Ln displays strong reversible adhesive diverse substrates. Ultimately, assembled into multifunctional, flexible sensor, boasting satisfactory sensitivity (GF = 5.3), rapid response rate (100 ms), outstanding characteristics, highlighting its potential applications in human motion detection

Efficient gas sensors that can accurately detect and identify hydrogen sulfide are essential for various practical applications. Conventional resistive often lack the necessary selectivity, which hampers timely effective H2S detection. This study presents lead phosphate-based specifically designed detection, effectively eliminate interference effects. Notably, altering metal element did not compromise sensor's exceptional selectivity. The sensing mechanism behind this excellent selectivity is explained. findings demonstrate potential developing high-performance use under ambient conditions offer a strategic reference designing highly selective sensors.
