Abstract Blue is one of the three primary colors, and it a crucial element in regulation application organic room‐temperature phosphorescence (ORTP). However, considerable Stokes shift small molecules presents challenge for creating blue afterglow materials. To address this, host‐guest‐doped materials are prepared by selecting compounds with similar structures self‐doping. This method effectively regulated long‐lasting phosphorescence. Additionally, persistent‐RTP long‐persistent luminescence (LPL) properties can be further enhanced incorporating rigid or flexible polymer network, dense environment between host guest. Remarkably, lifetime duration polymer‐assisted doped ≈5 times greater than those host‐guest crystal Apart from its high efficiency, environmental friendliness, easy synthesis, this ORTP material boasts thermal stability flexibility. Furthermore, demonstrates potential applications such as information encryption anti‐counterfeiting across various media, including paper, cotton thread, leaves.

Achieving thermochromic afterglow (TCAG) in a single material for advanced information encryption remains significant challenge. Herein, TCAG carbon dots (CDs)-inked paper (CDs@Paper) is achieved by tuning the temperature-dependent dual-mode of room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF). The CDs are synthesized through thermal treatment levofloxacin melting boric acid with postpurification via dialysis. CDs@Paper exhibit both excitation-dependent color properties. exhibits dynamic changes from blue at high temperatures to yellow low adjusting proportion TADF phosphorescence. Notably, two-photon CDs-based materials time-dependent colors first time. Moreover, leveraging opposite emission responses temperature, demonstrate temperature-sensing capabilities across wide range. Furthermore, CDs@Paper-based 3D code containing successfully developed encryption.

Abstract The development of single‐system materials that exhibit both multicolor room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP) and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) with tunable after glow colors channels is challenging. In this study, four metal‐free carbon dots (CDs) are developed through structural tailoring, panchromatic high‐brightness RTP achieved via strong chemical encapsulation in urea. maximum lifetime quantum yield reaches 2141 ms 56.55%, respectively. Moreover, CDs‐IV@urea, prepared coreshell interaction engineering, exhibits a dual afterglow red green TADF. degree conjugation functional groups precursors affects the binding interactions nitrogen cladding on CDs, which turn stabilizes triplet energy levels gap between S 1 T (Δ E ST ) to induce RTP. enhanced wrapping lowers Δ , promoting reverse intersystem crossing, leads This fully state, thus stabilizing material water, even extreme environments such as acids oxidants. These tested multicolor, time, temperature multiencryption well vivo bioimaging. Hence, these have promising practical applications information security biomedical diagnosis treatment.

Organic near-infrared room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials offer remarkable advantages in bioimaging due to their characteristic time scales and background noise elimination. However, developing RTP for deep tissue imaging still faces challenges since the small band gap may increase non-radiative decay, resulting weak emission short lifetime. In this study, fused-ring pyrrole-based structures were employed as guest molecules construction of long wavelength emissive materials. Compared decrease singlet energy level, triplet level showed a more effectively with conjugation substituent groups. Moreover, sufficient fused ring molecule suppresses decay excitons. Therefore, material (764 nm) was achieved penetration bioimaging. Tumor cell membrane is used coat nanoparticles (NPs) avoid decreasing performance compared traditional coating by amphiphilic surfactants. NPs tumor-targeting properties show favorable phosphorescent properties, superior stability, excellent biocompatibility. These are applied time-resolved luminescence eliminate interference penetration. This study provides practical solution prepare long-wavelength long-lifetime organic applications
