Nickel (Ni) is an essential micronutrient for plants, responsible metabolizing urea nitrogen (urea-N) by urease and mitigating abiotic oxidative stresses through the glyoxalase (Gly) glutathione (GSH) cycles. However, excess Ni toxic to flora at >100 mg kg−1, except hyperaccumulators that tolerate >1000 kg−1 Ni. This review discusses benefits of nutrient management soil fertility, improving food security, minimizing adverse environmental impacts from overapplication. Many farming soils are deficient, suggesting applying 0.05–5 kg ha−1 improves yield urea-N use efficiency. Applied foliar fertilizers decrease biotic primarily control fungal diseases. The bioavailability limiting factor synthesis in animal guts, microbiome. Improved activity plants subsequently feed livestock guts reduces release nitrous oxide nitrite pollutants. Fertilizer applied crops dispersed vegetative tissue since highly mobile not accumulated fruit or leafy tissues cause health concerns consumers. New methods delivery, including rhizophagy, recycled struvite, nanoparticle fertilizers, can improve systems.

Climate change is a global problem facing all aspects of the agricultural sector. Heat stress due to increasing atmospheric temperature one most common climate impacts on agriculture. has direct effects crop production, along with indirect through associated problems such as drought, salinity, and pathogenic stresses. Approaches reported be effective mitigate heat include nano-management. Nano-agrochemicals nanofertilizers nanopesticides are emerging approaches that have shown promise against stress, particularly biogenic nano-sources. Nanomaterials favorable for production their low toxicity eco-friendly action. This review focuses different stresses production. Nano-management crops under including application nanopesticides, discussed. The potential limitations these nano-agrochemicals reviewed. Potential nanotoxicity need more investigation at local, national, levels, well additional studies into soil, plant, microbial properties processes.
