Developing a sensitive, rapid, and accurate method for the quantitative visual detection of anthrax biomarker dipicolinic acid (DPA) is great significance to human health public safety. The encapsulation of various guest molecules into the pores metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to form hybrid materials has attracted significant attention due their unique spatial distribution and certain preferential geometry guests inside MOFs. This arrangement often results in exhibiting physical chemical properties intramolecular interactions with host. In this article, five viologen derivatives were introduced as a Zn-MOF different benzene ring lengths, resulting formation host-guest three-dimensional (3D) compounds exhibited guest-dependent emission wavelength, color, excellent photochromic behavior upon ultraviolet (UV) light radiation distinct electronic transfer π···π stacking between host framework. study provides strategy for designing color-tunable luminescent highly sensitive materials.

With increasing global industrialization, it is urgent and challenging to develop multifunctional species for detection adsorption in the environment. For this purpose, a novel anionic heterometallic organic framework, [(CH3)2NH2][CaEu(CAM)2(H2O)2]·4H2O·4DMF (CaEuCAM), hydrothermally synthesized based on chelidamic acid (H3CAM). Single crystal analysis shows that CaEuCAM features two different oxygen-rich channels along c-axis which one CAM3– bridges sextuple-coordinated Ca2+ octuple-coordinated Eu3+ with μ4-η1: η1: η1 new chelating bridging mode. The characteristic bright red emission superior hydrostability of under harsh acidic basic conditions benefit by acting as highly sensitive sensor Fe3+ 3-nitrophenol (3-NP) extremely low LODs through remarkable quenching. combination experiments theoretical calculations sensing mechanisms competitive absorption interaction are responsible Fe3+-induced selective quenching, while 3-NP result synergism host–guest chemistry inner filter effect. Meanwhile, assimilation negative charge plus renders adsorbent methylene blue (MB) due synergy electrostatic affinity, ion-dipole interaction, size matching. Abstract Multiple stimuli‐responsive materials hold excellent potential for the next generation smart owing to their unique response external stimuli, providing a powerful impetus development of intelligent optical devices. The behavior common multiple are independent each other, causing lack multiplicity and identification information technology, which is easy decode. Herein, QIPA‐Eu‐1 QIPA‐Eu‐2 isomers were prepared from QIPA EuCl 3 ·6H 2 O in different solvent thermal conditions building sequential stimuli‐response (SSR) system. Solvent‐driven structural transformations into QIPA‐Eu‐3 occurred, along with color change fluorescence emission variation ascribed aggregates. Furthermore, displayed photochromic behaviors. Combining theoretical calculation well‐defined experiments reveal mechanism, it was found that light drove dihedral angles between quinoline nucleus adjacent benzene rings Finally, on basis stimuli‐induced stepwise responsive QIPA‐Eu‐1, logic gate time‐dependent dynamic anti‐counterfeiting pattern successfully constructed. Abstract A low‐cost, high‐precision, and secure real‐time system for monitoring food freshness can significantly improve spoilage issues, yet traditional colorimetric sensor arrays often suffer from chemical dyes’ high toxicity limited color changes. Here, a metal‐polyphenol network array (MPN‐CSA) is built detecting total volatile base nitrogen (TVB‐N) markers of meat freshness. The multi‐level competitive coordination process between the amine substances endows with changes far beyond those dyes (reaching detection limit 300 ppb). By integrating convolutional neural (CNN) technology, an online platform developed freshness, achieving overall accuracy rate 99.83%. This environmentally friendly, economically viable MPN‐CSA that monitors in complex storage environments be incorporated into packaging boxes, enabling consumers suppliers to assess real‐time, thus helping reduce waste prevent foodborne illnesses.
