Abstract We investigated 14 antibiotic residues in 8 marketed freshwater fish species from southeast China and estimated the associated health risks to local consumers. The were determined by UPLC-MS/MS. Our findings revealed widespread distribution of quinolones (QNs), tetracyclines (TCs), chloramphenicols (CAPs) fish. Notably, average concentrations enrofloxacin ciprofloxacin reached levels as high 62.5 µg/kg wet weight (ww) 11.7 ww, respectively, detection frequencies 68.7% for 31.6% ciprofloxacin. Additionally, we detected chloramphenicol, a prohibited antibiotic, samples with frequency 0.76%. Among species, mean concentration total was highest bluntnose black bream (263.3 µg/kg), followed English perch (52.4 crucian carp (46.3 (28.6 yellowcheek (21.0 grass (15.3 bighead (3.78 mandarin (3.69 µg/kg). daily intake values these which lower than acceptable hazard indexes much less 1. It indicates there is very low direct risk Despite that, investigation on chronic impact, such antibiotic-resistant bacteria, gut microbiota disruption allergic reactions urgently needed.

Shenfu Qiangxin (SFQX) pills are proprietary traditional Chinese medicine used for the treatment of chronic heart failure (CHF) with significant clinical effects. However, a systematic identification and quantification complexed components is lacking. In this work, reliable comprehensive method rapid chemical was developed using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q Exactive-Orbitrap-MS). A total 104 compounds including flavonoids, saponins, alkaloids, anthraquinones, coumarins, phenolic acids others were identified through database searching. Identified further ascribed to herb species in SFQX pills, such as Ginseng Radis Et Rhizoma, Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (processed), Mori Cortex, Lepidii Semen, Rhei Polyporus. Among 32 representative elaborated cleavage pathways characteristic fragments MS2 spectrum commercially available standards. based on parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) technique established, absolute 28 then carried out. The results study can provide basis methodological reference quality control, consistency evaluation, standardization similar medicines.
