Bromine induced spiro cyclization of biaryl ynones facilitated the synthesis spiro[5,5]trienones suitable for extended functionality at C(3') position. Herein, a step-economic photo-oxidative brominative carbannulation employing ammonium bromide and riboflavin tetraacetate (RFTA) has been developed. The reactivity between distal phenyl C-H activated ortho-annulation dearomative ipso-annulation is well exemplified. eminent features methodology include metal-free, external additive free, low-loading photocatalyst (0.1 mol %), use simple precursor.

A new strategy for the preparation of 3-halobenzo[b]thiophenes via a photo-driven halocyclization/demethylation 2-alkynylthioanisoles with simple alkyl halides was developed. The reaction can proceed smoothly at room temperature under visible-light irradiation without any external photocatalyst, and protocol has range advantages, including simplicity mildness conditions, good functional-group tolerance, excellent yields products.

The attainment of energy sustainability in the building sector can be realised by implementing a green programme, which has grown significantly over last thirty years. Green is considered technical and management strategy within construction industries. Many different prediction methods, both complex simple, have been put out recent years used to solve wide variety issues. Several case studies highlighted factors that impede resource usage buildings. utilisation, trends, consequences wall thermal insulation materials are examined. main scope this investigation predict buildings' heat loss applying artificial neural networks according transfer coefficients walls coating materials, as well indoor, outdoor, external surface temperatures. data normalised presented two selected (Harmony search (HS) particle swarm optimisation contrasted (PSO)). For evaluating accuracy models, statistical indexes (R2 RMSE). Model performance PSO-MLP shown R2 amounts 0.97055 0.87381, respectively, RMSE 0.02534 0.09685. Similarly, HS-MLP model also indicated 0.93839 0.84176 0.03635 0.10753. analysis paper shows predicts with higher improved performance.
