This study investigates the innovative use of natural porous clays from Bejaad Region in Morocco as a support matrix for encapsulation and controlled release lemon essential oil (Citrus limonum, EOCL), compound with well-documented insecticidal properties. The research aims to address inherent challenges oils, particularly their high volatility rapid degradation, by improving stability efficiency against grain pest Sitophilus granarius. By anchoring EOCL onto clay matrices, this seeks achieve sustained active components, thereby enhancing practical application biopesticides. were comprehensively characterized using advanced analytical techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), fluorescence (XRF), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy energy-dispersive analysis (SEM-EDX), thermogravimetric (TGA).
