Metal
oxide
thin
films
are
critically
important
materials
for
modern
technologies,
particularly
semiconductor
in
transistors
and
optoelectronic
applications.
Many
metal
attract
interest
their
electronic
bandgap,
charge
carrier
mobility,
optical
opacity,
luminescence,
low
cost,
relative
abundance,
environmentally-friendly
production.
Additionally,
these
properties
often
tuneable
via
particle
size,
film
density,
surface
morphology,
deposition,
growth
method,
hetero-interface
engineering
or
ion-doping.
The
n-type
semiconducting
zinc
(ZnO)
is
an
material,
possessing
a
variety
of
useful
including
intrinsically
wide
direct
high
electron
relatively
exciton
binding
energy,
transparency,
demonstrated
metal-ion
doping,
range
different
morphologies
deposition
methods,
electro/photoluminescence,
existing
green
synthesis
methods.
Here,
aspects
ZnO
some

compound
oxides
reviewed,
focusing
on
how
the
unique

them
suitable
applications
from
