The strategic design of nanocomposites and their rationally constructed heterojunctions offer an effective approach for enhancing light harvesting optimizing energy conversions. Herein, we report the synthesis aqueous-stable, lead-free Cs3Bi2Cl3Br6 perovskite integrated with g-C3N4. An excellent band alignment Cs–Bi-based g-C3N4 was achieved by tuning anion in perovskite, leading to remarkable photocatalytic performance. construction a hybrid nanocomposite thin film device impressive hydrogen generation rate 341 μmol h–1 g–1, which is 16 times higher than that perovskite@g-C3N4 powder form. test results are albeit when quartz reactor used, where 20 mg optimized catalyst reaches up 539 g–1 apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) 1.32%. Spectroscopic studies, including photoluminescence (PL) time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC), have established presence long-lived charge-separated state confirmed excited electron injection into Cs3Bi2Cl3Br6@g-C3N4 not only accelerate charge transfer but also significantly enhance evolution stability photocatalysts.

Lanthanide ions are widely used as dopants for halide perovskites their broad energy level coverage from the visible to near-infrared (NIR) range. In this work, Cs2NaScCl6:Er3+ was synthesized by an improved solid-state reaction method, which showed effective NIR emission under ultraviolet excitation. Through calculations based on density functional theory and Bader charge analysis, it is shown that [ErCl6]3- octahedra show a strong localization effect in lattice, conducive transfer process of Cl-Er3+, sensitization responsible efficient luminescence Er3+, where around λem = 1540 nm originated Er3+:4I13/2 → 4I15/2 transition with ultrahigh photoluminescence quantum yield reached ∼28.3%. Notably, also exhibited bright upconversion green light (at 540 nm) excitation variety laser diodes (808, 980, 1550 via self-sensitization processes.

Lead-free metal halide perovskites have attracted attention because of their excellent optical properties and nontoxicity. Here, we report the synthesis Sb3+-doped indium perovskite Cs2InCl5·H2O:Sb3+ by an improved solution coprecipitation method. The treatment with selected monovalent cation halides led to Cs2MInCl6 (Ag+, K+, Na+) in different crystal structures or phases. Sb3+ has isolated ns2 electron, acts as luminescence center exhibits bright broadband emission that originated from self-trapped excitons. Under UV light excitation, these phosphors emitted multicolored ranging blue, green, yellow, red depending on whether not which ion was used. phosphor samples were used print high-resolution 2D color barcodes for security anticounterfeiting applications. study presented here provides a new approach design lead-free unique properties.

Presently, there are very limited options for a broad-band long-wavelength near-infrared phosphor-converted light-emitting diode (LWNIR pc-LED) with wavelengths above ∼1500 nm, and most LWNIR phosphors have low luminescence quantum efficiency. Here, Ni2+-doped MgIn2O4 antispinel were prepared by high-temperature solid-state reaction method. Under 365 nm excitation, they exhibited emission in the range of 1200–2100 an peak ∼1490 full width at half-maximum ∼313 indicating weak crystal field environment high electron polarization around center [MgO6] octahedron. The IQE EQE MgIn2O4:Ni2+ ∼47.93% ∼34.66%, respectively. optimized phosphor was encapsulated LED chip to obtain pc-LED device night vision lighting, nonvisual detection, biological imaging. Two-dimensional (2D) layered double perovskites have attracted much attention because of their excellent photoelectric properties. However, few reports been published on the synthesis 2D from halide as precursors. Here, we report that CsCdCl3 and Cs3Bi2Cl9 were synthesized by coprecipitation method, a two-dimensional perovskite Cs4CdBi2Cl12 was readily mixing two perovskites. We doped different amounts Mn2+ into to form CsCd1–xMnxCl3, which introduced impurity states energy level exhibited an orange-red light emission is characteristic Mn2+. A series Cs4Cd1–xMnxBi2Cl12 CsCd1–xMnxCl3 Cs3Bi2Cl9, showed bright orange-yellow luminescence under ultraviolet excitation. The presence high concentrations Cd2+ in weakened strong Mn–Mn coupling suppressed transfer defects, thus minimizing nonradiative decay promoting efficient transfer. Near-infrared phosphor-converted light-emitting diodes (NIR pc-LEDs) as a new NIR light source has outstanding application potential in the fields of spectroscopy analysis, sensing, imaging, and pattern recognition. Therefore, development phosphors with good luminescence thermal stability attracted much attention. To this end, we developed LiAlO2:Cr3+ garnet-type by high-temperature solid-state reaction method. Under 405 nm excitation, Cr3+ ions located tetrahedrons LiAlO2 emit emission broadband that covers 650-900 mixed several sharp narrowband R-line emissions, which showed excellent integrated intensity measured at 573 K is ∼90.86% 303 caused structural rigidity low expansion coefficient matrix material. An pc-LED device assembled optimized commercially available purple LED chip emitted output power ∼98.172 mW driving current 300 mA demonstrated an electro-optical conversion efficiency ∼9.09%, while it night vision monitoring biomedical imaging.
