This study presents a facile one-pot synthesis method to fabricate BiFeO3-Bi25FeO40-Bi2O3 heterojunction photocatalysts with controllable compositions and pure phases. Three different binary heterojunctions (BiFeO3/Bi25FeO40, BiFeO3/Bi2O3, Bi25FeO40/Bi2O3) ternary BiFeO3/Bi25FeO40/Bi2O3 were formed, all exhibiting significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance for the degradation of methylene blue (MB) phenol under visible light irradiation, outperforming individual compositions. Notably, BiFeO3/Bi25FeO40 achieved highest efficiency (93.68% 83.3% MB phenol, respectively) as well excellent stability. Impressively, was even over twice that BiFeO3 Bi25FeO40, four times higher than Bi2O3. The activity is primarily attributed advantageous S-scheme band alignments facilitate efficient charge separation enhance redox capabilities. While other also exhibited improved efficiency, each unique combination materials led distinct electronic structures diverse reaction mechanisms. simplicity scalability method, combined remarkable these materials, position them highly promising candidates applications in environmental remediation solar energy conversion.

Abstract Solar‐driven photoelectrochemical water splitting is a promising method for generating renewable and sustainable energy, as it effectively harnesses sunlight to convert into chemical bonds. Among the many materials explored oxidation, metal selenides stand out because of their narrow band gaps. In this study, we successfully developed high‐performance heterojunction nanostructure comprising p‐type Bi/Bi 2 Se 3 photocathode using facile solvothermal efficient splitting. Various characterization techniques confirmed structural optical properties fabricated nanocomposite. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) patterns along with Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) images, indicated single‐phase rhombohedral Bi crystal structure, nanoparticles, formation nanocomposite, while photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) energy dispersive (EDX) demonstrated successful heterojunctions. The as‐prepared photocatalyst exhibited an impressive photocurrent density 395 μAcm −2 at 0 V versus RHE, which approximately eight times superior . Detailed electrochemical revealed that high due improved light harvesting capability, enhanced charge separation, suppressed oxidation back reaction. This innovative approach represents significant advancement in solar‐driven production.

Bismuth is a promising and environmentally safe metal widely used in various industries, including electronics, medicine metallurgy. Despite this, its production associated with number of technological difficulties due to the low content bismuth natural ores presence mainly as by-product lead processing. The present article devoted study method increasing alloys using oxygen oxidation. It shown that lead, which has high affinity for oxygen, effectively oxidized passes into slag phase, whereas concentrated metallic phase. Experiments were carried out at 650 °C boric acid lower melting point improve flowability. As result five enrichment steps, alloy increased from 4.0% 48.8%. proposed demonstrates selectivity economic efficiency, makes it industrial application. results can be develop more energy-efficient technologies enrichment, especially relevant context growing demand industries.
