In this study, an ionic liquid–ethanol interface strategy is proposed to synthesize NH2-MIL-101(Fe) nanocrystals at room temperature. The as-synthesized exhibit small crystal sizes, abundant ligand defects, and unsaturated metal sites. present superior catalytic activity for the cycloaddition reaction of CO2 mild conditions (room temperature 1 bar pressure), much higher than NH2-MIL-101 (Fe) microcrystals synthesized by conventional solvothermal method. conversion propylene oxide catalyzed achieves a 99% yield within 2.5 h, accompanied generation rate carbonate production per gram catalyst (Rcarbonate) 52.8 mmol g–1 h–1. contrast, system employing shows lower 19.28% 10.28 were further used treatment simulated industrial flue gas with volume ratio N2/CO2 = 85:15. results show efficient ambient pressure, even relatively low concentrations. This work not only offers facile, energy-consumed, environmentally benign method fabrication MOF nanostructures but also provides high-performance systems fixation separation.

Abstract The persistent threats posed by toxic chemical warfare agents (CWAs) such as mustard gas (bis(2‐chloroethyl) sulfide, HD) and bacterial contaminants demand the development of innovative, sustainable mitigation strategies. Photocatalytic processes that generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) offer a promising dual‐functional approach for both detoxification antibacterial defense. In this study, two structurally analogous covalent organic frameworks (COFs), BPY‐COF BD‐COF, are synthesized using benzotrithiophene donor unit paired with bipyridine biphenyl, respectively. These COFs exhibit high crystallinity, broad‐spectrum light absorption, efficient charge carrier transport, demonstrating superior performance due to incorporation heteroatoms. achieved ultrafast simulant 2‐chloroethyl ethyl sulfide (CEES) half‐life 35 min 100% selectivity sulfoxide (CEESO) under white LED light, outperforming BD‐COF. Additionally, electrospun composite fibers containing 40 wt.% maintained comparable CEES degradation rates exhibited over 99% efficiency against Escherichia coli Bacillus subtilis within 60 min. findings highlight potential multifunctional photocatalyst integrated applications in defense, addressing critical challenges public health safety.

Abstract Photocatalysis leverages solar energy to overcome the thermodynamic barrier, enabling efficient chemical reactions under mild conditions. It can greatly reduce reliance on traditional sources and has attracted significant research interest. Reticular materials, including metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) covalent organic (COFs), represent a class of crystalline materials constructed from molecular building blocks linked by coordination bonds, respectively. function as heterogeneous catalysts, combining well‐defined structures high tailorability akin homogeneous catalysts. In this review, regulation light absorption, charge separation, surface in photocatalytic process through precise molecular‐level design based features reticular is elaborated. Abstract Stimuli‐responsive programmable materials exhibit remarkable potential for smart applications due to their ability attain multi‐stable states through structural adaptability upon guest molecule removal or exchange. However, achieving designability remains challenging, particularly in maintaining the crystallinity single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal (SCSC) transformations and ensuring tunable activation. In this study, it is demonstrated that SCSC between an empty monoclinic framework triclinic can be manipulated stimuli combining various activations molecules. Reversible switching facilitated by MeOH adsorption heating‐induced transformations, whereas H 2 O alone cannot directly induce transformation. Instead, must first adsorb N,N ‐Dimethylformamide (DMF) molecules form a new DMF‐adsorbed subsequently undergoes mild activation yield framework. Abstract Aromatic amines as important intermediates for chemical production have applications in industry such plastics, rubber processing, herbicides, dyes, and pharmaceuticals. Catalytic hydrogenation of nitroarenes is the main synthetic method producing aromatic amines. This work designs synthesizes a highly efficient selective catalytic catalyst (Pt‐AlOOH/C) using hydrothermal impregnation methods. The Pt‐AlOOH/C catalysts with different loadings (1.0, 0.1, 0.05 wt%) are successfully obtained by changing amount Pt precursor. results show that 1%Pt‐AlOOH/C had best performance, achieving 97.6% conversion 4‐nitroacetophenone 96.0% selectivity to p ‐aminophenone under following reaction conditions 0.5 h, 25 °C, pressure 2.0 MPa. one ─NO 2 also provides excellent activity high being hydrogenated other (for example, 2‐chloronitrobenzene, 2‐bromonitrobenzene, ‐nitrophenol, 1,3‐dinitrobenzene, ‐nitrobenzonitrile) reactions quite mild conditions. characterization nanoparticles dispersion uniformly loaded on AlOOH/C support.
