Over the past two decades, application of photocatalytic reactions in organic synthesis has increased remarkably. Porphyrins, renowned for their exceptional photophysical properties, photostability, and prevalence natural catalytic processes, are attracting significant attention as promising photocatalysts proceeding through energy transfer one-electron transfer. In this work, we synthesized indium(III) complex 2-[4-(diethoxyphosphoryl)phenyl]-1H-imidazo[4,5-b]-5,10,15,20-tetramesitylporphyrin (InTMPIP) explored its a photocatalyst oxidation sulfides by dioxygen or air. Complex InTMPIP was found to generate singlet oxygen with quantum yield 0.92 (toluene) enables efficient photooxidation sulfoxides "green" acetonitrile/water (4:1 v/v) methanol/chloroform (2:1 solvent mixtures almost quantitative yield. Furthermore, grafted onto hydrated mesoporous titania materials InTMPIP/TiO2-1 InTMPIP/TiO2-2 different In/Ti ratios were obtained investigated. The composition structure studied using combination elemental analysis, various spectroscopic methods, gas adsorption measurements, SEM imaging. Finally, efficiency aerobic sulfides. heterogenized selective under conditions; however, it is prone leaching into solution when irradiated both blue red LEDs.
