Background Diarrhea, as a significant aspect of digestive system disorders, the relationship between dietary quality and gut health has attracted increasing attention. Existing research shows an inconsistent correlation between whole-grain intake and obesity risk, with limited study on the dose–response relationship. Resistant starch is a type of dietary fiber with prebiotic properties, potential action on intestinal permeability, and an effect decreasing glycemic levels, presenting therapeutic for issues stemming from excess body fat associated comorbidities, such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Sixty C57BL/6 mice were allocated to the following diets 4 months: control (C), normolipid rich in (F), supplemented resistant (RS), high (HL), HL (HLF), (HLRS). The parameters analyzed: animal weight, composition, food intake, fasting blood glucose, lipid profile, hepatic histology, oxidative stress, assessment short‐chain acids feces. Long‐term supplementation doses effectively reduced weight gain decreased retroperitoneal adipose tissue weights, glucose alanine aminotransferase, serum triglycerides. Intestinal histology showed that high‐fat diet increased total diameter lumen (846.81 ± 7.82) enteric muscle thickness (8.51 0.51), while improved these (658.01 3.82; 30.56 0.66), also butyrate production, stress intestine. was effective reducing adiposity, NAFLD diet‐induced obesity metabolic syndrome (MS).
