Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) represent a promising class of inexpensive and tunable inorganic materials with growing applications in diverse areas. In this study, we applied an aqueous miscible organic solvent treatment (AMOST) to prepare novel series highly dispersed LDHs containing up four different metal centers (Mg, Cu, Al, Fe). These AMO-LDHs were fully characterized employed as precatalysts for the mild oxidative functionalization cyclic gaseous alkanes H2O2 give corresponding alcohols, ketones, carboxylic acids. Cyclohexane propane used model substrates. The oxidation reactions, occurring under conditions (30-50 °C), demonstrated good efficiency total product yields 40% catalyst turnover numbers 370 when using tetra-heterometallic AMO-LDH precatalyst (AMO-MgCuAlFe). Its enhanced catalytic activity is likely associated synergic effect (Cu, Fe, Al─all having recognized function catalysis). Substrate scope, selectivity, influence reaction parameters also investigated. This work offers novel, easy, more sustainable path advance application catalysis, opening use type systems alkanes.

The efficient construction of chiral aryl-containing organosilicon frameworks via catalytic enantioselective three-component silylarylation alkenes remains a great challenge. Herein, photoredox/nickel dual-catalytic asymmetric protocol has been disclosed by using biimidazoline (BiIM) as the ligand, silylboranes silyl radical precursors, aryl bromides coupling partners, and morpholine promoter. Remarkably, reaction features mild green conditions, high efficiency, excellent enantioselectivity, enabling facile synthesis valuable tropic acid sila-isoflavanone structures.
