Abstract Wound management is a complex clinical challenge that needs advanced materials and techniques for satisfactory results. Electrospun nanofiber mats have emerged as an innovative alternative wound healing purposes due to their porous architecture, greater surface area, ease of water absorption, mimicry the extracellular matrix natural tissues tunable mechanical properties. This paper sheds light on recent advances in fabrication techniques, properties, structural features application electrospun polymeric emphasizing importance polymer selection processing parameters tailoring physicochemical Furthermore, review explores underlying principles process various approaches incorporating bioactive agents into enhance biological performance potential.
