Abstract
Layered
double
hydroxides
(LDH)
present
advantages
in
photocatalytic
degradation
of
organic
pollutants
due
to
excellent
adsorption
capacity,
special
layered
structure,
robust
responsiveness
ultraviolet
and
visible
light,
etc.
In
order
improve
the
utilization
efficiency
photo-generated
charges,
this
work,
we
combined
basic
bismuth
nitrates
(BBN)
with
CuCr-Cl-LDH
fabricate
a
heterojunction
composite.
The
target
was
synthesized
by
hydrothermal
method.
resulted
composites
were
characterized
techniques
such
as
XRD,
XPS,
SEM,
TEM,
UV–vis
DRS,
BET
electrochemical
performance
test.
morphology,
optical
discussed.
results
showed
that
combination
BBN
formed
S-scheme
heterojunction,
promoting
separation
electrons
holes
remarkably
improving
activity
CuCr-Cl-LDH.
composite
prepared
7.95

Bi
(NO3)3·5H2O
1
presented
optimal
96%
after
2
h
irradiation
visible-light
at
condition
photocatalyst
dosage
0.5
g·L–1
initial
tetracycline
(TC)
concentration
20
mg·L–1.
During
process,
main
active
radicals
h+,
followed
•O2–,
•OH
took
relative
weak
role.
After
use
3
cycles,
remained
82%,
showing
preliminary
feasibility
application
wastewater
treatment.
