ABSTRACT
Excessive
ultraviolet
(UV)
radiation
causes
human
skin
damage
and
lesions,
accelerates
the
aging
of
polymer
materials.
UV‐shielding
materials
made
from
traditional
petroleum
are
not
biodegradable,
so
development
green
is
urgent.
In
this
study,
poly(lactic
acid)
(PLA)
was
toughened
by
polyethylene
glycol
(PEG),
nano‐ZnO
hybridized
cellulose
(MCC‐ZnO)
prepared
hydrothermal
method.
The
PLA/PEG/MCC‐ZnO
(PLA/PMZ)
composite
films
were
solution
casting
results
showed
that
toughness
PLA
significantly
improved
adding
5
wt%
PEG,
elongation
at
break
increased
5.2%
to
242.52%,
while
tensile
strength
basically
unchanged.
PLA/PMZ
with
3
MCC‐ZnO
have
excellent
UV
shielding
effect
satisfactory
transparency,
a
rate
92.2%
320
nm
visible
light
transmittance
41.7%.
Molecular
dynamics
simulations
interaction
between
PEG
promoted
formation
hydrogen
bonds
mechanical
properties
PLA/PMZ.
effect,
high
transparency
flexibility,
expected
be
widely
used
in
fields
outdoor
protection,
food
packaging
materials,
agricultural
