Dearomatization
approaches
are
attractive

abilities

transform

planar
arenes
into

three-dimensional
architectures.

visible-light
driven
dearomatization
strategies
significant

mild,
green,
and
sustainable
nature,
enabling
the
fabrication
new
chemical
bonds
via
an
electron
transfer
or
energy
process.
Indole
compounds,
being
potentially
bioactive
readily
accessible,
can
be
employed
efficiently
as
building
blocks
constructing
diverse
annulated
frameworks
under
photocatalysis.
Highly
stereoselective
radical
cascade
reactions
appropriate
indole
systems
provide
complex
cyclic
scaffolds
bearing
multiple
stereocenters.

Abstract
Ultrathin
zirconium‐based
metal−organic
framework
(MOF)
nanosheets,
embedded
with
photochromic
units,
are
expected
to
be
highly
efficient
heterogeneous
photocatalysts,
thanks
their
rich
catalytic
sites,
short
diffusion
paths,
and
effective
separation
of
photogenerated
charge
carriers.
Herein,
we
reported
the
synthesis
novel
Zr‐MOF
nanosheets
(Zr‐BTDB)
through
a
solvothermal
that
integrates
benzothiadiazole
(BTz)
as
moiety
within
MOF.
The
Zr‐BTDB
processes
[Zr
12
(μ
3
‐O)
8
‐OH)
2
6
]
cluster
hcp
topology.
Importantly,
exhibit
excellent
photocatalytic
activity
for
photooxidation
sulfides
amines
at
room
temperature
under
blue
light
irradiation.
Notably,
these
maintain
selectivity
up
five
cycles
without
significant
loss
crystallinity.
Systematical
reactions
revealed
enable
generation
singlet
oxygen
(
1
O
)
superoxide
radical
(O
⋅
−
visible
irradiation,
which
is
critical
reactive
species
benzylamines.
Our
work
represents
straightforward
route
preparation
ultrathin,
water
stable,
visible‐light‐activated
offering
new
potentials
selective
in
an
eco‐friendly
way.

constructed

way

good

excellent
yields.
The
protocol
features
high
bonding
efficiency,
operational
simplicity,
broad
substrate
scope,
easy
scale-up.
