Cleavage
of
C-C
bonds
is
crucial
for
hydrogen
production
via
aqueous
phase
reforming
biomass-derived
oxygenates.
In
this
study,
the
performance
and
bond
cleavage
capacity
Ni-W/AC
catalysts
with
varying
W/Ni
ratios
are
evaluated
using
ethylene
glycol
as
a
model
compound.
A
series
APR
experiments
conducted
suggests
that
Ni-0.2W/AC
catalyst
exhibits
highest
C1/C2+
ratio
15.87
achieves
yield
47.76%.
The
enhanced
Ni-W
bimetallic
interactions,
which
significantly
improve
efficiency
increase
activity
by
promoting
active
site
dispersion,
confirmed
detailed
characterization
techniques.
Further
analysis
product
distribution
provides
insights
into
reaction
pathways
mechanism
ethanol
during
reforming.
All
results
indicate
catalytic
method
effectively
facilitates
production,
contributing
to
better
understanding
mechanisms
