Efficient Time‐dependent Dual‐Model Room Temperature Phosphorescent Carbon Quantum Dots/ Boron Nitride Carbide Oxide Matrices

Abstract
Room
temperature
phosphorescence
(RTP)
materials
have
broad
applications
in
the
field
of
optical
devices
due
to
tunable
wavelengths
and
lifetimes.
However,
creating
efficient
RTP
that
possess
multiple
properties
remains
a
challenge.
Herein,
novel
approach
is
developed
situ
form
carbon
quantum
dots
(C‐dots)
embedded
boron
nitride
carbide
oxide
(B‐N‐C‐O)
matrices
by
introducing
nitrogen,
phosphorus,
dopants
into
C‐dots
(P/B/N
doped
C‐dots),
enabling
dual
emissions
time‐dependent
afterglow.
P/B/N
are
synthesized
vacuum‐assisted
gradient
heating
using
ethylenediamine,
phosphoric
acid,
boric
acid
as
precursors
with
yield
20
g
per
batch.
The
introduction
provided
triplet
states,
which
enable
and,
long
phosphorescent
lifetime
ranging
from
0.98
1.30
s.
formation
surrounding
enables
ultrahigh
up
50%,
surpassing
most
recently
reported
C‐dots.
To
demonstrate
potential
C‐dots,
they
used
anti‐counterfeiting
ink
dyes
for
security
codes
polyester
yarn,
showing
their
suitability
high‐level
applications.
This
work
provides
an
effective
route
large‐scale
synthesis
highly
preparation
high‐performance
devices.

Abstract
Highly
luminescent
carbon
dots
(CDs)
have
garnered
significant
attention
and
are
increasingly
utilized
in
various
fields.
Despite
its
importance,
there
has
been
a
lack
of
comprehensive
reviews
focusing
specifically
on
highly
CDs.
It
is
aimed
here
to
fill
that
gap
by
exploring
CDs
with
high
photoluminescence
quantum
yield
(PLQY),
starting
an
examination
the
mechanisms
underlying
The
selection
synthetic
raw
materials
preparation
methods
along
research
progress
reviewed
information
across
bands
then
statistically
summarized
several
tables.
Subsequently,
structural
features,
synthesis
methods,
purification
strategies
lead
PLQY
based
analyzing
collected
examples
Furthermore,
luminescent‐based
multifunctional
applications
bioimaging,
light‐emitting
diodes,
solar
concentrators,
lasers
introduced.
Finally,
current
landscape
evaluated,
existing
challenges
identified,
feasible
directions
proposed
for
future
development.

As
one
of
the
most
harmful
heavy
metal
pollutants,
hexavalent
chromium
Cr(VI)
is
becoming
a
serious
threat
to
human

and
SiO2-modified
wool
keratin-based
carbon
quantum
dot
(CQD)(En@CQDs@SiO2)
fluorescent
sensor
prepared,
En
found
improve
discrimination
ability
by
binding
with
surface
carboxyl
groups.
Based
on
these
designs,
En@CQDs@SiO2
achieves
significant
improvement
detection
ability,
limit
6.08
×
10–4
mg/L,
which
succeeded
6
times
over
CQDs,
better
than
conventional
UV–Vis
flame
atomic
absorption
(AAS)
techniques.
Furthermore,
has
good
relative
sensitivity,
selectivity,
spectral
reproducibility,
excellent
structural
stability.
These
properties
make
suitable
environmental
detection,
undoubtedly
improves
economy
friendliness
sensor.
