Background: Clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC) accounts for 80% of all kidney cancers and has a poor prognosis. Recent studies have shown that copper-dependent, regulated death differs from previously known mechanisms (apoptosis, ferroptosis, necroptosis) is dependent on mitochondrial respiration (Tsvetkov et al., Science, 2022, 375 (6586), 1254-1261). Cancer is a complex and highly lethal disease marked by unchecked cell proliferation, aggressive behavior, strong tendency to metastasize. Despite significant advancements in cancer diagnosis treatment, challenges such as early detection difficulties, drug resistance, adverse effects of radiotherapy or chemotherapy continue threaten patient survival. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have emerged critical regulators biology, with miR-506 being extensively studied recognized for its tumor-suppressive across multiple types. This review examines the regulatory mechanisms common cancers, focusing on role competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network apoptosis, migration. We also discuss potential therapeutic target overcoming resistance treatment. Overall, these insights underscore promise developing novel therapies.

Recent advances in research have led to earlier diagnosis and targeted therapies against breast cancer, which has resulted reduced cancer-related mortality. However, the majority of deaths are due metastasis cancer cells other organs, a process that not been fully elucidated. Among factors genes implicated metastatic regulation, non-coding RNAs emerged as crucial players. This review focuses on role long intergenic noncoding (lincRNAs) small nucleolar (snoRNAs) cell metastasis. LincRNAs transcribed between two protein-coding longer than 200 nucleotides, they do code for specific protein but function regulatory molecules processes such proliferation, apoptosis, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, migration, invasion while most them highly elevated tissues seem competing endogenous (ceRNAs) inhibiting relevant miRNAs specifically target vital metastasis-related genes. Similarly, snoRNAs 60-300 nucleotides found nucleolus being responsible post-transcriptional modification ribosomal spliceosomal RNAs. Most hosted inside intron sequences non-protein-coding genes, also regulate affecting related cellular properties.
