Triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, which is a valuable measure of insulin resistance, has been found to have predictive value for cardiovascular disease (CVD). However, its relationship with CVD among individuals chronic kidney (CKD) not thoroughly investigated. This study focused on examining the TyG index and CKD patients in United States. 3507 eligible participants from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (2003–2018) were surveyed this study. Objectives. This study aimed to evaluate the long-term effects of endurance training as a modulator in prevention cardiovascular disease risk obese individuals. Materials and methods. used true experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. Twenty-five women aged 20-30 years body fat percentage ≥30% were assigned (CNT) an exercise (EXC). The EXC underwent eight-week (three sessions per week) program (treadmill) lasting 40-60 minutes session. Blood pressure (BP), mean arterial (MAP), resting heart rate (RHR) measured using OMRON HBP-9030 digital tensiometer Polar H10 sensor at start (pre) after eight weeks (post) training. Results. Significant reductions systolic blood (SBP), diastolic (DBP), MAP, RHR detected between pre- post-endurance phases (all p ≤ 0.001). Additionally, notable decrease SBP, DBP, was observed groups 0.05). Conclusions. findings indicate effectiveness intervention, contributing consistent reduction women.

Abstract Objective: To analyze the risk and influencing factors of coronary heart disease (CHD) in patients with diabetes (DM), to develop validate a nomogram prediction model, providing basis for early diagnosis individualized intervention DM CHD. Methods: This study is based on data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). A total 2,141 diabetic 2011 2020 were included, randomly divided into training set (n=149) validation (n=642) 7:3 ratio. The least absolute shrinkage selection operator (Lasso) regression analysis was used screen factors, multivariate logistic model developed construct DM-CHD model. Model performance internally validated using Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curves, calibration decision curve (DCA). Results: Univariate identified 14 as DM-related Lasso further selected 7 key predictors: age (OR 1.06, CI 1.05-1.08, P<0.001), gender 0.47, 0.36-0.63, hypertension 1.85, 1.33-2.57, weight-adjusted waist circumference index 1.50, 1.25-1.81, neutrophils 1.09, 1.02-1.17, P=0.009), platelets 0.99, 0.99-0.99, triglycerides 1.18, 1.08-1.30, P<0.001). area under (AUC) ROC 0.758 (95% 0.728-0.789) 0.747 0.699-0.796) set. Calibration curves DCA indicated that had good predictive performance. model’s reliability clinical net benefit validated. Conclusion: The this study, multiple indicators (age, gender, hypertension, index, neutrophils, platelets, triglycerides), demonstrated high This has strong applicability can provide scientific evidence CHD, potential reduce CHD patients.

Aortic dissection (AD) is a life-threatening condition with high mortality rate. Oxidative stress and endothelial vascular smooth muscle cell migration contribute to AD pathogenesis. Herein, we investigated the therapeutic potential of hydrogen (H2), delivered via magnesium diboride nanosheets (MBNs), in murine model β-aminopropionitrile-induced AD. This treatment significantly improved survival rate reduced progression, as evidenced by aortic wall structure false lumen formation. Transcriptomic analysis indicated modulation RhoA/ROCK pathway, confirmed using Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, which showed significant downregulation RhoA ROCK2 after 28 days (P < 0.05). These findings suggest that released from MBNs attenuates progression through reactive oxygen species scavenging pathway inhibition.

Heart failure is a complex syndrome characterized by cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis, and diastolic/systolic dysfunction. These changes share many pathological features with significant inflammatory responses in the myocardium. Among various regulatory systems that impact on these heterogeneous processes, angiotensin II (Ang II)-activated macrophages play pivotal role induction of subcellular defects adverse remodeling during progression heart failure. Perivascular adipose tissue is of compelling interest when considering mechanotransduction. Because its location around a vessel, perivascular experiences from high (artery) to low (vein) pressures, pressures that are cyclical in nature. With blood pressure change, such as the elevation hypertension, question has been raised whether senses changes, evidenced by response can be genetic, structural, or mechanical Here, we briefly review following knowledge and data support ability both (mechano)sense (mechano)respond.

Heart aging involves a complex interplay of genetic and environmental influences, leading to gradual deterioration cardiovascular integrity function. Age-related physiological changes, including ventricular hypertrophy, diastolic dysfunction, myocardial fibrosis, increased arterial stiffness, endothelial are influenced by key mechanisms like autophagy, inflammation, oxidative stress. This review aims explore the therapeutic potential plant-derived bioactive antioxidants in mitigating heart aging. These compounds, often rich polyphenols, flavonoids, other phytochemicals, exhibit notable antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective properties. substances have intricate properties, ability scavenge ROS, enhance endogenous antioxidant defenses, regulate signaling pathways, impede fibrosis inflammation-promoting processes. By focusing on molecular linked cardiac aging, produced from plants provide significant promise reduce age-related decline improve general health. Through comprehensive analysis preclinical clinical studies, this work highlights associated with promising effects antioxidants. The findings may helpful for researchers identifying specific molecules preventive heart.
