Abstract Droop control is at the first level of hierarchy and does not require communication. Having high reliability, usually used in inverter‐based microgrids. The microgrid can operate as an island, it also be connected to main or auxiliary grid. Abstract This paper addresses the critical challenge of combating global warming by developing an advanced control strategy for DC microgrids powered renewable energy sources. It proposes a novel composite controller based on enhanced fast‐reaching law, integrating recursive backstepping with integral terminal sliding mode to ensure stable DC‐bus voltage and seamless power management. The proposed effectively coordinates multiple components, including proton exchange membrane fuel cells fuelled green hydrogen, solar photovoltaic systems, wind turbines permanent magnet synchronous generators, battery storage systems. To maximize generation from generator, deep neural network‐based maximum point tracking algorithm is employed. Moreover, fuzzy logic control‐based management system regulates flow, factoring in key parameters such as system's state charge, cell capacity, available sources power. robustness rigorously validated using Lyapunov theory stability under varying operating conditions. Both MATLAB/Simulink simulations processor‐in‐the‐loop testing demonstrate controller's superior performance, showing dramatic 85% 100% improvement settling time overshoot compared existing controllers.

ABSTRACT Aging of lithium‐ion (Li‐ion) batteries in off‐grid renewable energy systems (RESs) can be monitored and controlled using battery management (BMSs) which utilize aging models. Empirical semi‐empirical models (EMs) are preferred for BMSs due to their simplicity intuitiveness.
