Aim: The aim of the study was to assess quality life and functionality patients with KOA. Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) leads destruction articular cartilage loss its function. It has been shown that knee is leading cause functional limitations worldwide. Patients experience pain af f ects their daily activities, such as: getting out bed or a chair, walking climbing stairs. deterioration in gonarthrosis translates into life. also rehabilitation ef ective combating symptoms associated gonarthrosis. Materials Methods: Two groups were distinguished among participants – control (n=41) study, which random assignment made one three “Insoles” (n=43), “Exercises” “Mixed” (n=39). In order functionality, following used: KOOS questionnaire, 10 m Walk Test, Sensory Control Five Time Sit Stand Test. Diagnostics performed twice before after 6 weeks therapy. Results: Statistically signif i cant dif erences obtained assessment compared group (p<0.05), benef cial ect therapy demonstrated (p<0.05). greatest ectiveness achieved people performing exercises using orthopedic insoles at same time. Conclusions: Rehabilitation improvement bilateral medial compartment, most method combination simultaneous use insoles.

Background We aimed to systematically evaluate and analyze the clinical efficacy of oral probiotics in treatment knee osteoarthritis (KOA) based on theory “gut-joint axis.” Methods searched PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Embase, China Knowledge Network (CNKI), Wanfang Database, Wipro Database (CQVIP) databases for randomized controlled trials KOA. literature was organized by Note express software, quality included evaluated according systematic evaluation method, meta-analysis performed using RevMan 5.4 software. Results Five with 694 participants were this study, results showed that observation group experienced significant reductions Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index total score, visual analog high-sensitivity C-reactive protein level compared control group, but did not show differences improvement stiffness regulation body weight. Conclusion Oral had an ameliorative effect function, pain, inflammatory response patients KOA, our need be validated future large-scale studies. Abstract Previous studies have suggested that the morphology and function of thalamus cortex are abnormal in patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA). However, whether thalamocortical network is differentially affected this disorder unknown. In study, we examined functional effective connectivity between major divisions 27 healthy controls KOA using magnetic resonance imaging. We also explored topological features brain via graph theory analysis. The results had significantly reduced resting‐state (rsFC) thalamo–sensorimotor pathway; enhanced rsFC thalamo–medial/lateral frontal (mFC/LFC), parietal, temporal occipital pathways; left sensorimotor‐to‐thalamus right thalamus‐to‐sensorimotor pathway compared controls. thalamo–mFC pathways was when performed multisource interference task. Moreover, presented altered nodal properties associated circuits, including thalamus, amygdala, regions default mode networks, correlation analysis a significant negative pain intensity, task‐related disease duration/depression scores, positive intensity patients. Taken together, these findings establish differential alterations characteristics patients, which extends our understanding their role pathophysiology KOA.

Persons with osteoarthritis often have signs of reduced muscle strength. Some studies suggest that this strength could be improved exercise. However, does form therapy improve the disease status as assessed by improvements in cartilage viability, a hallmark disease? This brief describes possible usage exercises general, plus those known to and function, reduce pain whether structural impacts favor or impede regression been observed context among older adult population. Since exercise may also do harm, rather than good management if excessive, contra indicated, suboptimal, what is consensus regard 2024?
