This
paper
critically
examined
the
impact
of
over-dependence
on
Artificial
Intelligence
(AI)
by
Information
Technology
(IT)
Professionals,
exploring
cognitive
functions
such
as
critical
thinking,
decision-making,
and
problem-solving,
how
these
affect
autonomy
IT
Professionals.
Using
quantitative
research
methodology,
study
surveyed
180
Professionals
to
gauge
their
usage
dependence
AI-powered
tools,
well
perceptions
about
AI
technologies
effects
might
have
abilities.
The
findings
showed
a
very
significant
integration
respondents
in
both
personal
professional
capacities,
substantial
particularly
for
decision-making
purposes.
Furthermore,
there
appeared
be
possible
underestimation
that
has
abilities,
expressed
through
paradoxical
survey
results.
Moreover,
several
ethical
issues
were
identified
bias,
privacy
lagging
behind
laws
regulations,
further
serving
complicate
AI.
Based
