Addressing pressing global challenges-such as energy crises, population growth, food scarcity, resource depletion, and warming-requires innovative sustainable solutions.Biomass-derived wood pellets present a promising eco-friendly alternative. This study investigates the conversion of agricultural residues into pellets, utilizing two distinct biomass compositions.Composition A comprises equal parts young coconut fiber, empty palm fruit bunches, sawdust (1:1:1 ratio), while Composition B uses 1:1:0.5 ratio same materials.Laboratory analyses were conducted in accordance with Indonesian National Standard (SNI) SNI 8021:2014 to determine physical chemical properties resulting pellets. It was found that moisture content ranged from 3.52% 4.59% B, ash significantly higher at 10.09%, compared 4.25% for B. The measured be approximately 4102 Kcal/Kg (17,173 MJ/Kg) 4613 (19,313 results indicate calorific value are compliance several international standards, including (Indonesia), ONORM M7135 (Austria), DIN 51731 (Germany). However, exceeds these standards. The findings suggest optimal composition ratios can yield contribute solutions line Indonesia's renewable goals broader Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
