ESG, encompassing factors, serves as a critical tool evaluating sustainable development performance enterprises. ESG ratings provide essential data research strategic decision-making on initiatives. Originating from socially responsible investment 1960s, concept has evolved through four distinct stages: origin, development, establishment, rapid development. This begins by outlining neutrality, detailing its emergence, timeline, current status. It then traces evolution ESG. Through an extensive review literature detailed case studies, synthesizes existing to offer actionable insights stakeholders, reflecting past practices, analyzing applications, forecasting future opportunities journey towards neutrality.
