The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for developing learning media in form flipchart with jigsaw method improve students' understanding concepts class X vector material. used is quantitative descriptive data collection techniques through observation and interviews accompanied by documentation literature review related research. Industrial work practice is an essential program in vocational education. This study aims to analyze the level of capability students who carry out practices large and small industries Vocational Schools. In addition, it also measures difference industries. uses a quantitative approach according design developed by Hoy Adam. A total 230 respondents came from public private schools Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia. The data was collected using Likert scale questionnaire with lowest score 1 highest 4. were analyzed descriptive statistics inferential one-way analysis variance (ANOVA). Results industrial obtained 31.29 – 58.69 "High" category, 31.23 59.47 category. Although are high there still significant differences between methodology social personal capabilities. Meanwhile, learning capabilities technical have no difference. Students must be aware maximizing because instrumental supporting careers after graduating.
