Abstract Effective sample design has a major role in the quality of parameter estimation statisticalparameter issues. The ranking set sampling (RSS) strategy is effective and less costlyoption than simple random (SRS). Abstract A very useful modification to ranked set sampling (RSS) that allows a larger size without significantly increasing ranking errors is the maximum with unequal samples (MRSSU) approach. This article covers parameter estimation of inverted Kumaraswamy distribution using MRSSU and RSS designs. The likelihood Bayesian techniques are considered. regarded technique determined in case non-informative informative priors represented by Jeffreys gamma priors, respectively. Squared error minimum expected two loss functions employed. We presented simulation study evaluate performance recommended estimations root mean squared relative bias. Bayes point estimates were computed Metropolis–Hastings algorithm. Additional conclusions have been made based on actual geological data regarding intervals between Kiama Blowhole’s 64 consecutive eruptions. Ranked set sampling (RSS) is highly helpful technique for gathering data when it difficult or impossible to quantify units population. A bounded power logarithmic distribution (PLD) been proposed recently, and may be used describe many real-world sets. In current work, three parameters PLD are estimated using RSS technique. number conventional estimators maximum likelihood, minimum spacing absolute log-distance, square distance, Anderson-Darling, product spacings, least squares, Cramer-von-Mises, log Linex distance investigated. different estimates via compared with their simple random (SRS) counterparts. ABSTRACT Ranked set sampling (RSS) is an efficient method when ranking observations easier than precise measurement. Unlike simple random (SRS), RSS can reduce costs. The unit Xgamma distribution (UXGD), defined over the interval (0,1), effectively captures characteristics of negatively skewed datasets. This study aims to comprehensively compare several estimation methods, including maximum likelihood, Anderson‐Darling, Kolmogorov, ordinary least squares, Anderson‐Darling left tail second order, Cramer‐von‐Mises, weighted product spacing, right and five types minimum spacing distance for UXGD parameter under both SRS techniques. Through extensive simulations, we evaluate performance these estimators using multiple criteria designs. We rank based on their schemes. Simulation findings indicate that likelihood methods are superior alternative approaches assessing estimated quality SRS, respectively. It interesting note datasets, estimates revealed by our model satisfy consistency property. With increase in sample size, approach true values. Furthermore, results highlight efficiency gains as evidenced improved accuracy metrics. Two real‐world applications, COVID‐19 data from United Kingdom France, demonstrate practical utility findings.

<abstract><p>We proposed in this article a new three-parameter distribution, which is referred as the Topp-Leone exponentiated exponential model proposed. It used modeling claim and risk data applied actuarial insurance studies. The probability density function of suggested distribution can be unimodel positively skewed. Different distributional mathematical properties TL-EE were provided. Furthermore, we established maximum likelihood estimation method for estimating unknown parameters involved model, some measures calculated. Also, potential these statistics provided via numerical simulation experiments. Finally, two real datasets losses analyzed to prove performance superiority among all its competitors distributions.</p></abstract>

The fitting and modeling of skewed, complex, symmetric, asymmetric datasets is an exciting research topic in many fields applied sciences: notably, lifetime, medical, financial sciences. This paper introduces a heavy-tailed Nadarajah Haghighi model by compounding the family distribution. obtained has three parameters that account for scale shape proposed distribution’s fundamental characteristics, such as probability density, cumulative distribution, hazard rate, survival functions, are provided, several key statistical properties established, entropy information measures proposed. Estimation performed via maximum likelihood estimator procedure. Further, different simulation experiments conducted to demonstrate estimator’s performance using like average estimate, bias, associated mean square error. Finally, we apply our analyze real datasets. In illustration, compare practicality recommended with well-known competing models.
