On-demand spatial modes and vortex beams from a visible Pr:YLF orbital Poincaré laser with a hybrid pumping scheme

The
controlled
visible
spatial
modes
and
vortex
beams
with
tunable
properties
are
highly
sought
after
in
cutting-edge
applications,
such
as
optical
communication.
In
this
study,
by
utilizing
a
hybrid
pumping
scheme,
we
demonstrate
an
ultra-compact,
607
nm
orbital
Poincaré
laser
based
on
diode-pumped
Pr:YLF
laser.
system
can
generate
various
structured
modes,
including
Laguerre-Gaussian
(LG),
Hermite-Gaussian
(HG),
Hermite-Laguerre-Gaussian
(HLG),
all
of
which
mapped
onto
first-order
sphere.
A
numerical
analysis

coherent
superposition

The
detection
of
rotational
speed
based
on
the
Doppler
effect
(RDE)
has
gained
notable
attention
due
to
its
quick
response,
wide
measurement
range,
and
non-contact
operation.
However,
previous
methods
for
generating
conjugate
topological
vortex
beams
in
process
rely
a
series
bulky
optical
elements,
such
as
spatial
light
modulator
(SLM)
or
digital
micromirror
device
(DMD),
making
system
complex
difficult
integrate.
In
this
Letter,
we
propose
method
generate
via
single-layer
metasurface,
thereby
realizing,
best
our
knowledge,
first
compact
version
an
RDE-based
system.
By
analyzing
adjacent
frequency
peak
gaps
echo
signals,
rotating
target
can
be
accurately
measured,
with
maximum
average
relative
error
being
0.812%.
This
paves
way
development
miniature
metrology
devices,
which
are
particularly
suitable
applications
limited
volume
payload,
enhancing
practical
implementation
metrology.

all-solid-state
laser,

(PEA)2(CsPbBr3)n−1PbBr4
perovskites
as
SA.

achieved.
Additionally,

generated
laser
cavity
noncollinear
pumping
technique
precisely
manage
gain
loss
characteristics
