This paper puts forward a novel measurement and calculation method for sessile droplets' volumes on inclined planes spherical external surfaces. The volume of droplet an plane or surface, which has fictitious plane, is determined by its shape factor (β), the maximum distance (d) contour points away from inclination angle θinc. Using circular arc differential Bashforth–Adams equation image processing technique, d β are obtained calculated out. theoretical model algorithm set up to calculate volume. In addition, we do experiments validate accuracy model. experimental results show good agreement with those work significant can be used measure control droplets in microfluidic biomedical technologies.
