Stress experienced by animals during pre-mortem management handling significantly affects both their welfare and the quality of meat produced. Using hemp-derived CBD may offer several benefits in alleviating this issue. In study, we investigated effects supplementation on blood variables, growth performance, carcass characteristics, goats. Sixteen crossbred Boer goats were divided into four groups receiving a basal diet supplemented with 0 (control), 0.1, 0.2, or 0.3 mL CBD/30 kg body weight over 90 days. Although growth, pH remained unaffected, influenced variables. Specifically, dietary at 0.1–0.3 increased white cell (WBC) counts, while serum total protein, globulin, sodium, carbon dioxide levels, potentially affecting protein metabolism electrolyte balance. Over time, significant changes noted hematological profiles, kidney markers, some electrolytes, indicating physiological adaptations. Regarding quality, 0.2–0.3 linearly improved color redness stability; moreover, tenderness textural properties, resulting softer texture. However, analysis using an E-nose indicated ammonia organic solvent vapors from higher groups. Industrial hemp is mainly cultivated for its fibers aimed at the production of textiles, paper, and cordage; inflorescences medicinal purposes; seeds are used by food industry due to their high nutritional functional matrix protein, fiber, lipids, microelements. Hemp seed oil (HsO) a unique source polyunsaturated fatty acids, with phenomenal ω6:ω3 ratio 2.5–3.0, significantly enhancing human health when consumed daily. HsO mostly obtained through cold pressing minimal thermal treatment, although lower yield compared solvent extraction, it presents higher quality lipid fractions organoleptic characteristics such as color, taste, flavor, density. Although powerful antioxidants, phytosterols, lacks standardized control parameters, except THC, which subject EU legislation. Abstract Background Cannabis sativa L. (Cannabaceae) has been widely used by humans throughout its history for a variety of purposes (medicinal, alimentary and other uses). Armenia, with rich cultural diverse ecosystems, offers unique context ethnobotanical research about traditional uses . The present work aims to study preserve the local knowledge in Armenia conducting interviews informants through literature review. The poultry industry stands as a cornerstone in securing global food stability, both the present and foreseeable future. To continue to uphold this critical role, exploration of innovative, low-input feed sources is imperative. Hemp emerges promising candidate, offering locally sourced ingredients that not only reduce costs but also maintain high nutritional standards for livestock. This study delved into utilisation whole hemp seeds diet 100 Naked-neck Kabir chicks were divided randomly two dietary groups, one fed control (CTRL) deprived soybean meal with 10% inclusion Carmagnola (HEMP).
