Over the past few decades, there has been a significant increase in population and unsustainable urbanization, resulting exploitation of water energy resources on large scale. This led to rise demand for freshwater, which, turn, caused pollution due improper disposal wastewater from various sources such as industries, agriculture, households. The industries often contains toxic heavy metals harmful emerging contaminants (ECs), which can harm living beings cannot biodegrade. Hence, it is severe issue that needs be addressed. To combat this problem, treatments are necessary two main reasons: firstly, recycle reuse meet future human reduce scarcity, secondly, ensure compliance with discharge standards environmental sustainability while minimizing groundwater soil contamination. In review, several treatment technologies comprising physical, chemical, biological methods have discussed critically. state-of-the-art discussion different existing techniques their limitations deliberated. Finally, contemporary trends highlighted.

Assessing the impacts of climate change and land use/land cover changes on water resources within a catchment is essential because it helps us understand how these dynamic factors affect quantity, quality, availability freshwater. This knowledge crucial for making informed decisions about management, conservation, adaptation strategies, especially in regions facing increasing environmental uncertainties challenges to resource sustainability. In Pakistan’s Kunhar River Basin (KRB), this investigation explores potential effects shifting (LULC), stream flows. The SWAT (Soil Water Assessment Tool), semi-distributed hydrological model, most recent Coupled Model Intercomparison Project phase 6 (CMIP6) dataset from multiple global models (GCMs) were used evaluate effects. temperature precipitation data downscaled using CMhyd software; both shared socioeconomic pathways (SSP2 SSP5), top-performing GCM out four was required produce predictions while taking future use characteristics into account. output chosen indicated that by conclusion 21st century, relative reference period (1985–2014), study area’s average monthly precipitation, highest temperature, lowest will be increasing. Precipitation anticipated increase between 2015 2100 20.5% 29.1% according SSP2 SSP5 scenarios, respectively. study’s findings, which emphasize need project planners managers account their management techniques, show can have significant impact changing seasons flows basin.

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)- and Remote Sensing (RS)-based Earth observations have a significant approach on the monitoring of natural disasters. Since evolution appearance earthquake precursors exhibit complex behavior, need for different methods multiple satellite data is vital prior after impending main shock. This study provided new deep machine learning (ML)-based detection ionosphere atmosphere precursors. In this study, we investigate multi-parameter physical nature defining states associated with event in Japan 13 February 2021 (Mw 7.1). We analyzed possible from surface to ionosphere, including Sea Surface Temperature (SST), Air (AT), Relative Humidity (RH), Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR), Total Electron Content (TEC). Furthermore, aim find pre-and post-seismic anomaly by implementing standard deviation (STDEV), wavelet transformation, Nonlinear Autoregressive Network Exogenous Inputs (NARX) model, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network. Interestingly, every method shows anomalous variations both atmospheric ionospheric before earthquake. Moreover, geomagnetic irregularities are also observed seven days shock during active storm (Kp > 3.7; Dst < −30 nT). demonstrates significance ML techniques detecting anomalies support Lithosphere-Atmosphere-Ionosphere Coupling (LAIC) mechanism future studies.

For the conservation and sustainable use of oceanic environment, monitoring underwater regions is ineluctable effectuated with aid an wireless sensor network. It accoutered smart equipment, vehicles sensors utilized for transmission acquired data from region forwarded to sink nodes (SN) where are retrieved. Moreover, SN complicated by aquatic environment's inherent complexities. To surpass those issues, work in this article focusesto propose a Hybrid Cat Cheetah optimization algorithm (HC2OA) that purveys energy efficient clustering based routing. The network then partitioned into numerous clusters, each which led cluster head (CH) comprised many sub-clusters (CM). Based on factors such as distance residual CH selection optimized collects respective CMs multi-hop approach. proposed HC2OA chooses route SN. Thus mitigates complexities over routing selection. Simulations NS2 simulator analyzed performance. results study show has significant advantages state-of-the-art works terms lifetime, packet delivery ratio, consumption. consumption 0.2 J ratio 95%.The life time work, respect coverage area around 14 km approximately 60 h.
